reasons people aren't coming to interesting2008 - a demographic analysis

Interestingbunting

People in their 20s aren't coming because they couldn't get it together to get a ticket.

People in their 30s aren't coming because they spend every Saturday in June going to weddings.

People in their 40s aren't coming because they're doing something related to the summer solstice and a mid-life crisis.

And, if you're still after a ticket, they are being traded here. If you're not going to be able to make it someone will probably snap yours up.

I don't fit any of your demographic profiles, plus I have a ticket. Does this mean I have to turn up?

Yes David, you have to come.

I get to come for free, but Mum's picked that weekend to come up from deepest Cornwall.

Aggghhh - spot on. Though for me it was actually a 20s/30s combo (that could mean that I am in denial about my age?) in so much as I wanted to go. Then work got in the way and never got a ticket. Then realised that we had a wedding to go to anyhow (which was pretty much exactly the same excuse that I had for Interesting 07)

When I told my colleague (in his 20's) about 'Interesting,' he just said, "Maybe that's something you do when you're older."

will I be the only 20 something there?
