I thought I should have a look at Picasso's because Gordon Ramsey raved about it so much. And it is nice. Though it's not really a greasy spoon. Much too bright, clean, shiney and posh for that. But, nevertheless, a great place to sit, have a cuppa and watch the class war in Kensington and Chelsea. Everyone's there, the arrogant euro-trash, the braying aristos, the little rich old ladies and the blokes in dusty polo shirts installing piping next store. And obviously the yuppy scum like me.
This is owned by the Dino's chain of Italian restaurants/cafes, which are all well worth a visit. Check out their branches at Gloucester Road, South Ken and Earl's Court, all near the tube stations.
Picasso's probably has the most up-market punters, but is a break from the increasingly bland "clone town" nature of the King's Rd.
Check out the "Chelsea Kitchen" up the road, near the Sloane Square end. It's a 60's hold out, and is a bit cheaper

Picasso's King'd Road, London, is a great gaff for a dose of Caffine, it's location must be stated, for which it is not as pricy as expect if you wonder how pricy consider that I was skint and I survived with some left over!!!. It's a modestly rated cafe & I would suggest it to anyone!!!!

I recently dropped in here and it is a very nice place to sit and have a cup of tea. Problem is, they just don't 'get' the ebcb thing. I won't moan about it, but if you're looking for a good fry up, with good bacon and decent porrtions, you might drive off in your E-Type Jag a little deflated.

Picassos is a bit pricey these days.
It may be due to the fact that a mock up of it in the All Saints Rd is being used as a location for the forthcoming film;'Hippy Hippy Shake'.
