D's brew stop is a fantastic little place near Cressbrook, near some superb walking territory. It's inside a strange Victorian folly - there's a better picture of the situation here.
There's virtually no inside seating - but there's a little sheddy bit you can lurk in if you're feeling nesh. They just do drinks, maybe soup and assorted snacks, maps, guidebooks, odd sweaters and socks. It's a fabulous place. Friendly, cosy, amateur (in the best sense) For walkers.
You can't beat a cup of tea and a choccy bar after a long walk. Or even before a long walk. Or, as in this instance, instead of a long walk.
Excellent! You should update more often! I love your site.

Anybody know a good greasy spoon in the Kings cross area? - even better - near to the British Library at St Pancras.
