Muratori is very near Mount Pleasant Post Office depot and is consequently often full of posties. A crowd that guarantees quality fry-age.
I'm surprised there aren't more oval plates in the world. Oval has just the right contours to incorporate the ebcb. Lovely chips here - yellow and fat. Nice egg, with a watery yoke just beneath the white - like a pale sun rising in the mist. Good slabs of bacon and generous beans.
Comprehensive condiment cluster.
Good boothy, benchy things.
If you are ever in Crouch End, try 'The Crescent Cafe'.
Various set breakfasts, or build your own.
A damn good feed, a friendly owner, and tea you can stand a teaspoon upright in. All for £3.50.

Try the Valtarro in Marchmont Street WC1. Its run by an italian family who are friendly. The nearest tube is Russell Sq (Picc Line) and the cafe is opposite the Lord John Ruissell Pub. Popular with locals (inc. me), cabbies, workmen and students. IMHO, it offers great ebcb at a competitive price.
Check it out.
Rgds,
Neil.

Great review - I think I'll pop in at lunchtime.
Small correction though, it's on Margery Street, not Margaret Street.

thanks Bary. Duly noted. Very kind of you.
I'm clearly going to have to pay more attention to detail.

V odd opening times at this place, e.g. they were locking up when I got there at noon on a Saturday. I'd phone ahead to make sure they're open first.
