Mr City, which is near by on Artillery Lane, is a spin off of Dino's and does the best delivered breakfast for the EC2M region, in our opinion.

Dino's Grill - Been there, Brill :)

yes i have been to Dinos but despite being a bit of a classic cafe it failed to deliver, lower than average food made worse by a substatial amout of egg shell in one of our dishes. not the best in the area by a long way.

Dino is not only the best caff in E1 but Dino himself is the master of caff patter. I mean - "bitch chips or butch chips?" when offering french-fries versus thick-cut! You wont get that in any ironic we've got a blackboard fucking gastro pub! The bacon is good thick-cut non-smoky back. The sausages are of course revolting meat-flavoured sawdust tubes - BUT THATS HOW WE LONDONERS EXPECT THEM!

that's what we want. some debate. excellent.

Having hightailed it out of the City for more peaceful climes, I can honestly say that Dino's is a top E1 experience I truly miss.

Someone please review Mama's cafe at 255 waterloo Road. Ace Caffe with awesome eggs and chips to die for. Trying to go only once a week but failing - 3 times at least. Crappish decor but who cares, stomach is exstatic.

Just had lunch at Dino's today, having known about the existence of this cafe for years, from having glimpsed it from the NCP carpark opposite. It was an ok jacket potato, had better, had far worse. But the price was good and I think I'll be back someday.

Check out Rosa's, and Rossetti, in nearby Hanbury St. Both open on Sunday (I think they shut about 1 or 2pm.)and provide good caff fare, at reasonable prices.

Dino's isn't open on Saturdays, but it shuts about 1pm on Sundays.

The Ponti's in Bishopsgate, opposite Liverpool St station, looks like it's their first, judging by the Formica tables and leatherette booths. It's open 24 hours.
