
I was loading the printer today, and I noticed what it said on the paper we have: 'multifunctional communications paper' Now I'm a big fan of the paper industry. Paper does not get the recognition it deserves. But this is positioning/marketing nonsense of the highest order.

Reminds me of a pair of "Executive" socks I found on a market stall where the packaging contained the tagline - For people on the move. Which I've always treasured. And highlights the other function of brand communications - keeping people in useless and unproductive employment generating tosh like this.
