I've refered before to our domestic Newsnight challenge - the idle speculation we have at home about which of the people we know will be first to be on Newsnight. So far, Anne's been in the lead with an appearance on Go For It. But now she's been trumped by our friend Andy Ruddock who was on Thinking Allowed last week.
I was on Newsnight once. Does that count? It was three or four years ago. I was genuinely terrified it was going to be Paxman but it was a much nicer person - female - what was her name? Not Kirsty Wark. It'll come to me after I've clicked 'post'.At Webmedia and another.com I had a standing brief with my PR people - 'get me on the Today Programme' but they never managed it...

Well you've won then. Hurrah. Pointless challenge over. We should actually have that coffee sometime so you more fully qualify as someone I know. (Exhalted company indeed.)
