I wouldn't say I enjoyed it as much as Pete obviously did, but it was very er, rousing. God, that makes me sound old. They sounded like the pictures look.

I recently heard their live recording for when they played here (Richmond VA)... very progressive. Rousing indeed. I kind of liked it. I liked the cute little "thank you" after every song.

It was also charming the way they would unleash a maelstrom of furious noise and then in politely, precisely hesitant English announce that they were playing'Southampton' the following night, making 'Southampton' sound suddenly bizarre and exotic.
