worship shoes

If you like to do very visual PowerPoint you often find yourself struggling to find a good image as a backdrop for talking about more abstract stuff. I saw these two neon signs in Portland and suspect they'll come in very handy from now on.

i like the idea of workship shoes.

sounds like the kind of thing you'd have in your spiritual PE bag for dancing an' a-praising an' all that.

all that jumping up and down then diving down on your knees is really going to stress your non-worship shoe.

Somewhere in London there is a Brand Street. The photo of that sign gets used in my presentations a lot.

Shoes for worship makes you realise you'd need different shoes for different denominations/religions. A nice pair of C of E slippers or some tight, punishing Catholic shoes.
