Mr Tim Milne, who spoke about printing and things at Interesting is trying a little experiment - trying to turn direct mail into something you might actually want to receive. He's running a test programme at the moment and looking for volunteers for the pilot. (I think you have to be in the UK though.) All the details are here, have a look, it might be rather, well, interesting. You might have to be quick about it, the deadline is midnight tomorrow.
Here's a little interview with Mr Tim Milne for anyone who wants some more explanation:

The Matter Box looks wicked! I requested one. Are you on Facebook?

Hi Russell, I'm a junior planner at small ad agency, trying to convince a very traditional client that the business landscape is constantly evolving and changing. I am attempting to do this by writing a think piece-esque list of everything that is new. i.e. new media opportunities, new distribution points, new trends. Given that you are king of all that is new, I wondered if you had any thoughts or would consider throwing this out there to see what others thought.sorry this isn't strictly relevant to the above post
Many thanks,
Dylan
