I've found myself thinking about creative organisations again recently - the possibilities, dynamics and challenges of agencies and like-minded businesses. No conclusions yet. No beginnings either really. But I think part of my renewed interest is that a lot of what was theoretical 10 years ago is now starting to be real - it's actual stuff that has to be dealt with today. A case in point is this fantastic article about the number of films being made and entered for film festivals each year - 50,000. (And that might be in the US alone, I'm not sure.)
Who knows exactly what this will mean for businesses that make a lot of money from making films, but it has to mean something, surely. The context isn't changing, it's changed.
I'm collecting more examples of these changed contexts, I suspect they'll add up to something.

We've been building the InnocentAGMcam hat over the last couple of weeks. You can see some of the testing here. It'll spring properly into life on Saturday. Tom's done all the clever stuff, obviously, but I had fun with lego and sellotape. I suspect they're my analogue equivalents of powerpoint - if you can't make something with lego and sellotape then it's not worth doing.
