Crumbs. Interesting2008 is only three weeks away. Look forward to a flurry of posts as I remember all the things I've forgotten to do. But first, a little treat. Simon's made a fantastic, impressionistic radiophonic-style audio collage of Interesting2007. It makes it sound like a strange, secret, underground think-tank style event, as if The Rand Corporation had decided to reproduce the Festival Of Britain. Brilliant stuff. Thanks Simon. another slow project

After what you could think of as a decent interval there's finally an Interesting2007 website on the global system of interconnected computer networks known as 'the internet'. Rob and James and their friends at Rattle built this for us gratis and for nothing and for that they're saints. (Their new blog about their research project on teenagers and shared gaming is also well worth reading.) The Interesting site is mostly a compilation of the various bits of Interesting that have leaked out onto the webulars, there's nothing new there, but it is at least all in one place. Please, speakers, if you don't like what we've written or linked to about you please let us know, completely happy to change it. And if we've made any mistakes, or forgotten anyone (I'm dreading this) please let me know.

Emily and the InterestingSouthers have got their videos up. There's some great stuff in there, and they've done it really nicely, with two cameras and everything. And it serves to remind me I still haven't got all the Interesting2007 videos done yet. Sorry about that. Will do asap. You know, when I've finished painting these Warhammer Ultramarines.

It's Interesting South next week, in a theatre overlooking a beach, not that I'm jealous or anything. Lauren's talking there and she's making some really interesting stuff based on the original logo. It looks great. I really like the way Emily and the folks are inventing a new way of doing interesting. It's got me thinking.

I'm really enjoying how Emily and the folks are approaching Interesting South. They've just stuck a line-up on the blog and it looks brilliant. You even get a hint at what people are going to talk about, made me realise that was probably a thing I messed up on. This was the only line-up we had for Interesting at the Conway Hall.

Here's one of the last bits of Interesting that doesn't require some tricky editing (like what am I going to do with Lloyd's bit?) and I know it was a favourite 20 minutes for many people. It's Jennifer Lyon Bell (with Jeffre) offering 9 Tips For Making A Better Erotic Movie.

I wonder if the words 'erotic movie' are going to attract a different flavour of comment spam.

I'm sorry about the absence of the last bits of interesting. The only delay is me, we're now getting to the bits that require trickier editing. But, to keep you doing, Dave has put his slides up on slideshare and synced them with his audio. Which means you can see the very rare missing few minutes from the video (due to tape change). It's like some sort of rare Dylan bootleg. (Picture above is Dave, but it's better of his camera.)

And here's the final Tom from Interesting. Tommi to be more correct. Tommi Brem who emailed me and said he'd like to talk at the conference. I had no idea who he was, but he said he was doing a PHD in Science Fiction (I think it was PHD, a proper qualification anyway). And who could argue with that? He was on. And he delivered, with a three minute meditation on 'finity'.
